Upper Darby man arrested after cache of guns found in home

    An Upper Darby man who allegedly threatened to shoot and kill 12 doctors at a Philadelphia hospital where his daughter had been treated for cancer has been arrested, according to a report on the Daily Local News.

    Robert Bruce Dalrymple, 58, was taken into custody after police raided his house and confiscated 21 guns and numerous boxes of ammunition Monday.

    According to police Superintendent Michael Chitwood, Dalrymple allegedly made the threat against physicians at Fox Chase Cancer Center to a visiting nurse caring for him at his house. Dalrymple’s daughter died of cancer in May.
