Two archdiocesan elementary schools given Blue Ribbon distinction

Officials from Corpus Christi Parish School in Lansdale and Nativity of Our Lord Parish School in Warminster will head to Washington, D.C., later this fall to accept the national distinction recently imposed on them.

Both elementary schools have been given the National Blue Ribbon honor from the United States Department of Education, bringing the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s total number of Blue Ribbon honors to 15.

Since 1982, the program has recognized schools for excellence in leadership and teaching practices and high standards for student achievement. The Department of Education keeps a complete list of Blue Ribbon schools here.
