Troublesome toys

Keep this study in mind when you’re doing your holiday toy shopping. The U.S. Public Interest Research Group and it’s Pennsylvania and New Jersey affiliates have found some potentially dangerous stories on the shelves.

The “Trouble in Toyland” study found examples of toxic chemicals and choking hazards associated with some popular toys.

Toy industry executives are miffed the study was released just before Black Friday, and cite an improvement in safety standards.
