Tropical Storm Lee forces Middletown Area School Dist. to make up lost time

Students of the Middletown Area School District in Central Pennsylvania will lose some of their holiday off days because of Tropical Storm Lee.

The Patriot-News reports the district needs to make up for lost time from flooding, when schools were forced to close for four days in September.

Because of the severe weather, students will have to attend school on November 23 and November 28, two days that were originally scheduled as days off for students for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Patriot-News says the district still has three dates available for snow makeup days if needed.
