Trial begins for former Delaware pediatrician, teachers talk full-day kindergarten
Coming up at 6 p.m. on NewsWorks Tonight, we’ll talk to reporter Mark Fowser in Delaware about the latest on the trial for Earl Bradley. The trial began today for the former pediatrician, who faces sexual abuse charges.
Bodies were shipped today to the Franklin Institute. As part of its summer exhibit, the Institute has welcomed 45 mummies as old as 6,500. Peter Crimmins will talk to us about the exhibit and the mummies’ arrival.
The whirlwind continues for the School District of Philadelphia’s teachers. We’ll hear from a full-day kindergarten teacher about her efforts to scale back the curriculum when word came the District would likely cut the full-day program. Behavioral Health reporter Maiken Scott talks about whether the full-day program is that much more effective.
