TLA will hold massive sale before closing Center City store

The TLA video at 15th and Locust will go the way of most video stores, when it closes soon.

But just like when other TLA spots shuttered, the Center City locale will sell off its inventory first.

Reporter Lizz Fiedler spoke yesterday with TLA Entertainment Group President Raymond Murray, who likened the store’s sad but expected closing to the death of a 90-year-old uncle.

And Lizz has a bit more info for us: After closing for a few days to take stock, TLA will reopen during the last week of August for a huge sale. Your last shot at discounted DVD and VHS movies will be Labor Day weekend and that Monday.
