Third Atlantic City carjacking suspect to appear in court

The 18-year-old arrested Friday in connection with a fatal carjacking in Atlantic City is due in court today. Raheem Simmons was taken into custody Friday after two other suspects were apprehended.

He’s accused of the carjacking at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort last weekend that left 28-year-old Sunil Rattu dead and 24-year-old Radha Ghetia injured. Phillip Byrd was arrested last Tuesday, followed by Eric Darden Thursday.

The men are charged with murder, carjacking, kidnapping, theft and robbery.
