The only guy who can get a tie on Fetterman
Clever Wolf campaign video shows the governor taking John Fetterman, his running mate, shopping for a tie.
By November, we’ll probably all be sick of attack ads in the Pennsylvania governor’s race.
But as summer approaches, Gov. Tom Wolf’s campaign has offered a harmless (and his campaign no doubt hopes, endearing) online video which has some fun with the cultural differences between Wolf and his running mate, John Fetterman.
Wolf is a bespectacled 69-year-old who wears suits.
Fetterman is heavily tattooed and the size of a giant. The candidate for lieutenant governor keeps his head shaved and wears Dickey work shirts – never a tie.
In the video, Wolf tells Fetterman that, if they win, he’ll have to preside over the state Senate where a necktie is required.
That leads to a shopping trip, in which the Jeep that starred in Wolf’s campaign ads four years ago makes a cameo (Fetterman has to fit in the passenger seat), and fun is had by most.
