The good, the bad, the ugly
If you’re looking for a good time to visit Philadelphia, don’t come during fall, winter, spring break or New Years’s Eve, says Travel + Leisure mag.
The mag has released yet another list of city rankings, and according to both visitors and residents, the aforementioned times of year are bad times to visit Philly.
We scored high (top 10) in pizza, historical sites, museums, classical music and cultural getaways. But aside from being unvisitabl almost year-round, Philadelphia also doesn’t have much to offer by way of people and quality of life.
We’re not attractive, stylish or athletic. We also have . . . brace yourselves . . . bad weather. We came in 31st out of 35 cities for our poor weather. Must be that whole four seasons thing.
Oddly enough, New York, our competitor neighbor to the north, came in with a higher weather ranking. Did we miss something?
