Tattoo Arts Convention returns to Philadelphia [photos]

Tattoos, piercings, performances, body suspensions — just about everything will be on display this weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention opened Friday, bringing vendors and customers of the inked variety.

Organized by Philly-based Villain Arts, the convention will include live demonstrations, consultations and plenty of photo opps.

And unless the winter storm throws everything off, this won’t be a small event. More than 750 artists, vendors, celebrities and presenters will be on hand to interact with the expected 8,000 guests.

This is the convention’s 15th year in Philly.
