Sussex holds dog license fees steady

No increase for dog licenses in Sussex County for 2012.

Dogs that are six months or older must be licensed for 2012 by March 1.  The cost for spayed and neutered dogs will stay at $10, while un-neutered dogs will cost $15 to license.  Owners can get a license that’s good for one, two or three years.  If you don’t get your dog licensed, you could face a $50 first-time fine, which could increase to $100 for repeat offenders.
