Suspects flee after stabbing man at Center City Wendy’s

Philadelphia police are searching for two suspects in a stabbing at a downtown fast food restaurant.

Police say the 21-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest and leg around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Wendy’s at 11th and Walnut streets.

Police says a man in his 20s and a transgendered woman accosted the victim as he was eating.

Surveillance video showed the suspects struggling with the victim.

Small says they fled with his cell phone.

The victim was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He’s in stable
