Suspect apologizes for summertime Society Hill attacks

    The man charged with six summertime Society Hill assaults will go directly to trial after waiving his preliminary hearing today and apologizing to his victims.

    The 39-year-old North Philadelphia resident was arrested in July after assaulting a robbing several women in the affluent neighborhood. Though Willie Wyche apologized, the Inquirer reports he hasn’t pleaded guilty.

    Wyche is charged with six assaults during a two-week period early this summer.
