Warm, sunny, and dry conditions continue, lasting through the weekend.

Today, it’s back to summer. Highs will reach the mid 80s in some locations, which is well above normal. With a very warm offshore flow, even the beaches will hit 80 degrees. Inland locations will remain in the low 80s through the weekend, while the beaches will be in the 70s. Warm nights, as low temperatures will only drop down into the 50s (around 60 at the coast). You’ll notice the humidity increase Friday and Saturday.

The next chance of significant rainfall is early next week, depending on if a tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico gets drawn north along a cold front (the track would be inland — not along the coast).

BOAT/BEACH: Summer-like conditions in October! Ocean temperatures remain in the upper 60s to about 70 degrees. Breakers and ocean swells are small today. But if you enter the water, exercise extreme caution, as lifeguards are off-duty.
