Studying 9/11: Students at Rutgers study historic day in class

Students at Rutgers University are getting the opportunity to look at the 9/11 attacks in a scholarly way.

Rutgers University is offering a course called “The Contemporary American: The 10th Anniversary of 9/11” to 140 students.

The Star-Ledger reports the university’s New Brunswick campus is offering the class, which takes an in-depth look at all aspects of the attacks and the aftermath.

Several other universities around the country also offer similar classes, which college officials say are some of the first to fill this semester, according to The Star-Ledger.
