Strangler’s ex-girlfriend says he was never violent with her

Seems like the alleged Kensington Strangler has someone in his court. Antonio Rodriguez’s ex-girlfriend says she finds the allegations against him “shocking.”

NBC10 tracked down Simone Tinsley-Chapman. Now married and living in Colorado Springs, Chapman dated and lived with Rodriguez back in 2008, and says he was never violent toward her.

Though Chapman says Rodriguez’s confession solidifies his guilt, she says he doesn’t deserve to die for his crimes — the rapes and murders of three women.

As Chapman put it, “Something happened in the world to him that made him flip.”
