St. Joe’s approved for Maguire Campus field upgrades

After years of plans and hours of meetings, St. Joe’s University has been granted approval to upgrade fields on its Maguire Campus, though there is still some tension surrounding the 90 conditions attached to the approval.

The university will renovate its fields and install a sound system, drawing concern from Lower Merion neighbors about construction and noise, the Main Line Times reports.

And despite the go-ahead, SJU is still pursuing an appeal of an order that requires the university to appear before the zoning board again for a special exception to an expanded use.
