Springsteen announces two local tour dates; no word on whether he’ll stop by Constitution Center exhibit

Bruce Springsteen is coming to Philadelphia in every which way.

He’ll be here in March as part of his Wrecking Ball tour, but the rest of his life’s work will be on display come February at the National Constitution Center. The center’s “From Asbury Park to the Promised Land” exhibit will run though September and feature the Boss’ music, performances and interviews.

Question is, does Springsteen plan on stopping by the NCC in March when he plays the Wells Fargo Center?
“We have no idea at this time,” NCC public relations manager Lauren Saul tells NewsWorks. “We’re wondering, too.”

Saul cited Springsteen’s last-minute, unannounced appearance at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for a similar event as reason to hope the Boss visits the Old City center this year.

Springsteen will be in Jersey for the tour, too, but only for two April concert dates at the Izod Center in East Rutherford.
