Special music tribute set for Monday at University of Delaware

A special concert featuring an original piece of music will be held to honor the passing of a University of Delaware student enrolled in the school’s music department.

The musical arrangement is arranged by Jennifer Margaret Baker.  The performance is to remember her student, Greg Paroulek.  He passed away in February 2009.  He was a sophomore at the time.

Baker would like people to remember her student as a talented composer and percussionist.  Baker takes some the percussion compositions that her student wrote and will weave them into the performance.  It will take place at 8pm at the Amy E. duPont Music Building in the Loudis Recital Hall.

You can visit the music school’s website for more details and ticket prices.
