Speak up: Legislators urge residents to attend Route 422 forum

How would you feel if you had to pay a toll when driving on Route 422? There’s a chance drivers could soon be paying to drive on the road – but not before they’ll get their chance to speak out on the proposal.

The Mercury reports a proposal to levy a toll on Route 422 was unveiled in June by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.

Tonight, residents in the Upper Providence area are being urged by local legislators to attend a forum at Pope John Paul II High School to discuss the proposal.

The forum is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
