South Jersey Transportation Authority executive director to step down

Bart R. Mueller, executive director of the South Jersey Transportation Authority, is stepping down. No replacement has been announced for his July 1 exit.

Mueller’s held the position since 2007, overseeing the Atlantic City Expressway and Atlantic City International Airport.
Under his tenure, as the Press of Atlantic City reports, Mueller added high-speed Express E-ZPass lanes to the Expressway and privatized toll collections.

His departure will come a full five and half years after stepping into the role.
