Triskaidekaphobia? Not at the 13th annual South Jersey Pumpkin Show running from Friday Oct 7 through Sunday Oct 9.

The family and pet friendly fall festival returns to the Salem County Fairgrounds this weekend with wagon loads of seasonal fun.

A dramatic reading of Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, complete with an appearance by the Headless Horseman himself and the New Jersey Big Pumpkin Weigh Off are among the festival highlights. Also, there will be a dog parade at noon on Saturday and Sunday.

The three-day autumn fair also features a kid-friendly haunted barn, hayrides, costume contest, decorated stroller and pet parades, amusement rides and games, old fashioned pumpkin toss, craft vendors, scarecrows and hundreds of pumpkins in a giant pyramid display.
