Six contenders remain in running for new PATCO GM

    Six candidates remain in the running for the new general manager of PATCO, according to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer.

    According to the report, the candidates will be interviewed early next week, with a successor to be named in about a month.

    The job, which was occupied by former PATCO general manager Robert Box, has been vacant since April 1.

    Box has since retired.

    The Philadelphia Inquirer reports the six candidates were narrowed from a field of about 30.  The candidates, according to the report, have not been identified.
