‘Shark Week’ fever is high at the Jersey Shore

If you’re heavily engaged in social media, it has been almost impossible to escape updates about Discovery’s “Shark Week.” It’s extremely popular to say the least, especially at the shore.

And the popularity is not just based on anecdotal evidence.

Sunday night’s kickoff of the channel’s 26th edition of the wildly popular shark soaked programming week logged the highest ratings in the history of the series, according to a Los Angeles Times report

To capitalize on the show’s popularity, the Tuckerton Seaport and Baymen’s Museum on Main Street in Tuckerton is hosting shark related activities through this Saturday.
