Several boats ablaze at Cape May County marina

Firefighters are battling a fire involving multiple boats late this evening in a Cape May County marina .
Numerous fire companies are at the Minmar Marine marina on Old Sea Isle Boulevard in Ocean View, where boats were ablaze shortly after 11 p.m. tonight, according a Dennis Volunteer Fire Company spokesperson.
The marina is along the Townsend Sound across from Sea Isle City.
Emergency radio transmissions indicate that around eight boats, some with fuel, were ablaze. Firefighters were reportedly making good progress in the battle as of midnight.
It was not immediately known if there were any injuries or what sparked the fire.
