See the Flower Show from Ground Level with Nicole Juday

As you may have noticed, NewsWorks has been all over the Philadelphia Flower Show today like mulch on a flower bed.

The show, the first under Drew Becher, the new head of the Philadelphia Horticultural Society, opens Sunday.

Our blogger on all things green and flowering, Nicole Juday, took a spin around the show and reports what she saw on her Ground Level blog.

Nicole is horticulturist at Wyck, an historic house in Germantown, and if you have not checked out her blog, yet, now during the Flower Show might be a good time. Nicole offers frequent close and witty observations about how Nature manages to make itself seen, heard and smelled, even in the big city. It’s good stuff.

Our Flower Show coverage also includes Peter Crimmins talking with Becher about his big debut, and inside looks at how the exhibits from W.B. Saul High School in Roxborough and Robertson’s Flowers in Chestnut Hill came together.  Links to all those stories and videos can be found inside Nicole’s blog post.

Sunday morning our videographer Kim Paynter will take you on an advance video tour of the show, once all the flowers get put finally in place.
