Section of Pennypack Park to be sprayed for mosquitoes

The mosquito-spraying continues, this time in Pennypack Park.

Parts of Chester, Montgomery and Delaware counties have been sprayed to prevent the spread of West Nile, and the same will happen tonight in Pennypack in the area near the concert stage — that’s the spot between Welsh Road, Cresco Avenue, Rhawn Street and Pennypack Creek.

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health’s Vector Control staff will spray this evening using a method that involves “fine aerosol droplets.”
