Authorities have called off a search for a paddle boarder reported missing off Sea Bright, according to a report on NJ.com.

Local emergency responders and the U.S. Coast Guard searched nearby waters Saturday night after police received a call from a local employee who was told that a paddle boarder had not returned to land after entering the water, the report says.

The paddle boarder was reportedly last seen near the Ship Ahoy Beach Club, according to a posting on the Monmouth Beach Fire Company Facebook page

Police tell NJ.com that the missing person report is “unconfirmed.”
