School Reform Commission invites parents to community school closing meetings

Just in case there was any confusion about who’s invited to the School District of Philadelphia school closing meetings, parents and guardians have been sent letters personally inviting them to attend.

The Notebook reports the School Reform Commission’s four members have sent letters to parents encouraging their attendance at the 17 meetings to be held starting Saturday.

Meetings have been set up across the city through mid-February to help parents and students with the transition.
