The scarecrows of Philadelphia’s Morris Arboretum

This year’s Fall festival at Morris Arboretum was a bit rainy, but there was a period of sunshine when NewsWorks captured these photos of families making scarecrows.

This was the 13th Fall Festival and was held Sunday, October 2. In addition to the scarecrows, pumpkins were being decorated, and Weavers Way was on hand to sell locally-grown produce.

The Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania is located at 100 East Northwestern Avenue in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia.
