Sandusky’s preliminary hearing postponed until mid-December

The preliminary hearing for former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky has been postponed, with a new date set for mid-December.

Sandusky is accused of sexually abusing eight boys over 15 years through his role at the Second Mile charity. The Associated Press reports the Dec. 13 preliminary hearing is when prosecutors will show they have enough evidence to take Sandusky to trial.

University administrators Gary Schultz and Tim Curley, charged with perjury during grand jury testimony, will appear in court Dec. 6.
