Sandusky’s lawyer: A plea deal could happen if more alleged victims speak up

In an exclusive story from the Patriot-News, Jerry Sandusky’s lawyer, Joe Amendola, says he might talk to Sandusky about a plea deal if more alleged victims come forwrd.

Sandusky, though, still maintains his innocence, and the paper lays out how Amendola plans to defend the allegations from the eight victims named in the grand jury report. But more alleged victims have since come forward to say the former Penn State assistant football coach sexully abused them.

Just yesterday, a civil suit filed yesterday by John Doe A says Sandusky abused him over a period of four years in the ’90s.
