Copper thief hits Chestnut Hill College

Chestnut Hill College is out $6000 after a burglary that took place between 3:30 p.m. August 12 and 6:45 p.m. August 15. A safe containing $2000 and $4000-worth of copper pipes were stolen, according to Police Officer Jillian Russell.

A maintenance supervisor reported the theft after noticing the missing items in the maintenance shop. Police have no lead yet on a culprit. Chestnut Hill College is located at the 9600 block of Germantown Avenue.
