Run the bridge: Ben Franklin Bridge briefly closed Sunday for 10K

Hundreds of runners took the Ben Franklin Bridge this morning for the Annual Cooper-Norcross Run the Bridge 10K.

The event benefits the Larc School in Bellmawr, New Jersey. Organizers on the race website say they’ve reached their 4,000 participant cap for the 10K.

Runners started at the foot of the Ben Franklin Bridge in front of the toll plaza in Camden, then crossed the bridge and come back through the Camden waterfront. The race ended at Campbell’s Field, totaling 6.2 miles.

The run began at 8:30 a.m. at Campbell’s Field in Camden.
