Residents near Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst may hear “booms” and feel “rumbles” through Saturday.

The Marine Wing Support Squadron 472 will be conducting demolition training at the Dix ranges today and Saturday, according to a military press release.

Combat engineers will detonate explosives between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

“During this time, Joint Base and community residents may experience ground shaking and considerable noise, especially during overcast weather,” the release said.
