Get your canoe ready for Wednesnight night’s Philadelphia Canoe Club Flat Rock Practice.
The practice is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the clubhouse. Organizers say the group will start by collecting all of the needed gear and then will shuttle over to Flat Rock Park to begin paddling back over four miles of Class I/II whitewater.
You can go as quickly or as leisurely as you like and as daylight allows.
The costs include a $5 ACA fee per season, along with a $10 flat gear rental fee.
The PCC holds its practice sessions every Wednesday during the summer.
The clubhouse is located at 4900 Ridge Avenue.
