Route 72 project up for discussion today in Bear
Businesses and residents along Route 72 between Route 1 and Willamette Drive will get a chance to comment on a plan to widen the road during a workshop this afternoon. The meeting will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at Kathleen H. Wilbur Elementary School on Wrangle Hill Road in Bear. The DelDOT proposal calls for an additional travel lane to be added in each direction of Route 72. It also includes plans to reconfigure several intersections along the route. New pedestrian and bicycle lanes will be added to the length of the project.
