Robert Kennedy, Betty White in town to speak at Public Library Association Conference

    Not only is the Public Library Association Conference in town this week, some celebs will grace Philly with their presence in the name of literacy and books.

    Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will deliver his keynote speech tomorrow afternoon at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, and Thursday promises an appearance by Philadelphia author Lisa Scottoline during the Audio Publishers Association Dinner.
    Saturday, actress Betty White will forgo St. Patty’s Day Festivities for the conference’s closing session.

    Conference attendees will discuss various programs and initiatives in the public library sphere.
