Rittenhouse menorah to be lit at 6:30 p.m.

The menorah at the Independence Visitor Center is already up and ready to go, and tonight, Rittenhouse Square has a lighting of its own.

The square is celebrating Hanukkah with a giant menorah right next to its giant Christmas tree, and the menorah will be lit tonight at 6:30 at the center of the square. Ardmore’s Suburban Square is also getting in on the action. Its Hannukah Wonderland will take place tonight and tomorrow when a rabbi lights the 10-foot menorah’s first two candles. That starts at 6 p.m.
