Ridley schools get $32,500 in math and science grants

Two grants to the Ridley School District will fund a math program and adjustments to the science curriculum. The grants total $32,500.

Boeing’s $25,000 grant will fund the Developing Strong Mathematical Citizens for the 21st Century program, the Delaware County Times reports.

The other $7,500 comes from the Environmental Education Grant for Earth Day 2011, which the district applied for last December to help Ridley High School teachers adjust the environmental science course to comply with state standards.
