Ridge Park Mtg. on Taxes March 7

Did you receive the new assessment for your real estate taxes? There are many concerns about the changes in the assessments and the tax increase that comes with the new assessments. If the market value of your home is higher than what you feel it should be you need to file a preliminary appeal. This appeal is due by 3/31/2013, the form to appeal is in the packet that you were mailed by the Department of Revenue and we will have forms available at the meeting and assist you with any questions. We have invited a representative from the city to address the questions and concerns that we have received from our membership. We are also prepared to assist our membership with their appeals. Bring your assessments and appeals and join us at the Ridge Park Civic Association General Membership meeting, Thursday, March 7, 7 p.m., at the 5th Police District, Ridge Avenue and Cinnaminson Street, to address these and other community concerns.
