Rib-making Penguins fan will stop serving his food to the Flyers

The Flyers have been playing great in Pittsburgh. But all you superstitious fans will have to do some extra breath-holding and finger-crossing if that streak is to continue.

Turns out coach Peter Laviolette attributes the great games to great ribs. The ribs come from DeeJays in Weirton, W. Va., and owner Dewey Guida happens to be a big-time Penguins fan.
Yahoo! Sports reports after Laviolette revealed the Flyers win when they eat the ribs, Guida decided to cut the team off. Weirton is less than an hour from Pittsburgh, and many of Guida’s customers are Penguins players. Even outside of Philadelphia, sports team loyalty appears to trump business.

Guida told the Steubenville Herald-Star Tuesday, “I pray, I hope, that the Penguins beat their skates off.”

So which Philadelphia cheesesteak maker will be the first to cut off the Penguins?
