Reviewing Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine law and the school district’s preliminary school closings list

    Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett has signed an extension of the state’s “Castle Doctrine” into law, expanding citizens’ rights to protect themselves with the use of deadly force. We’ll hear about how the amended law will affect past and future self-defense cases.

    But we’re starting tonight’s show with the latest on New Jerseyans lobbying for gay marriage. And by lobbying, we mean suing. A suit against the state was announced today to push the state to legalize gay marriage. Reporter Phil Gregory will give us the details.

     

    A law up for a vote today could make it easier for Garden State residents to get wine from outside the state. This is has big implications for the wine industry. Jen Howard tells us about the politics behind wine.
