Restaurant Week gets doughy as Krispy Kreme jumps in on the deal

    Krispy Kreme is adding its signature glaze to Center City Restaurant Week.

    It’s week two of the deal that lets hungry diners eat from fixed-price menus at dozens of the Philadelphia’s restaurants, and though the dougnut franchise can’t exactly offer, say, five courses for $35, Krispy Kreme has found its own way to sweeten the deal.

    If you’re still hankering for dessert, you can take your Restaurant Week receipt to the Center City shop and get six free dougnuts when you buy six. Receipts are valid for up to a week, and Restaurant Week ends Friday.
