Resorts Casino gets second extension in search for new CEO

Atlantic City’s Resorts Casino Hotel has been granted a second extension to allow more time to replace deceased CEO Dennis Gomes.

Gomes, on whom the movie “Casino” is based, died in February and son Aaron took over his duties. The Press of Atlantic City reports the casino now has until Oct. 23 to hire a new CEO, thanks to the latest extension from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Both extensions will help Resorts work out the new management agreement with Mohegan Sun.
