Report: Several rescued from homes filling with tidal water in Ocean City, N.J.

Several Ocean City residents were rescued from their homes this morning, a report says.
The Ocean City Office of Emergency Management tells CBS3 in Philadelphia that the homes were filling with tidal waters.

The worst tidal flooding during the morning high tide has been reported in southern shore areas, particulary in Cape May County, where major flooding is ongoing this morning.

High tide occured along the oceanfront between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. this morning, 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. tonight, and 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. High tide on the back bays occurs later than the oceanfront.
