An investigation is underway after a fire ripped through several apartments above a liquor store in downtown Sea Bright late Sunday night, according to a report on Red Bank Green.

The blaze broke out shortly before 11 p.m and quickly rose to multiple alarms, requiring a response from numerous nearby volunteer fire departments, the Facebook page Monmouth County Police, Fire & EMS reported

Arriving firefighters encountered fire coming through the windows of the apartments at 1060 Ocean Avenue, which are above Seabreeze Wine & Spirits, and brought the blaze under control in under 45 minutes, according to the Red Bank Green report.

There were no injuries, tweeted Sea Bright Mayor Dina Long.
