Report: Fire destroys apartments in Sea Bright late Sunday night

An investigation is underway after a fire ripped through several apartments above a liquor store in downtown Sea Bright late Sunday night, according to a report on Red Bank Green.
The blaze broke out shortly before 11 p.m and quickly rose to multiple alarms, requiring a response from numerous nearby volunteer fire departments, the Facebook page Monmouth County Police, Fire & EMS reported.
Arriving firefighters encountered fire coming through the windows of the apartments at 1060 Ocean Avenue, which are above Seabreeze Wine & Spirits, and brought the blaze under control in under 45 minutes, according to the Red Bank Green report.
There were no injuries, tweeted Sea Bright Mayor Dina Long.
“Grateful for all the first responders who came to help with last night’s fire in Sea Bright. Thankfully no one was hurt,” she wrote.
