Rendell joins wind energy development company board

Ed Rendell’s got a full plate. And it’s wind-powered. The former Pennsylvania governor is now on the board at New York City’s OwnEnergy, Inc.

The company, reports the Business Journal, partners with landowners to develop mid-sized wind farms.

“The company is building a nationwide network of energy entrepreneurs in resource-rich communities and providing them the platform to leverage their local resources in an unprecedented and financially lucrative way,” a statement from Rendell reads.

He’ll also be at Ballard Spahr law firm in Philadelphia and the Brookings Institute in D.C. while doing some commentary for MSNBC.
