Rehoboth considers changes to noise ordinance

Rehoboth Beach commissioners will consider changes to the town’s noise ordinance at tonight’s meeting.
The ordinance would ban “plainly audible noise” from extending beyond a 100-foot perimeter around restaurants, theaters or other businesses that serve alcohol before 9 PM. That perimeter would shrink to 50-feet between 9 and 11 PM. After 11, no “plainly audible noise” would be allowed beyond the property line. Tonight’s meeting starts at 7.
