Recreational grants for two dozen Camden County facilities

Funding is in the air in Camden County.

More than two dozen recreational facilities in 21 municipalities have been awarded grants from the Camden County Open Space Preservation Trust Fund.
The annual grants go to facilities that have planned improvements and expansions, with a maximum of $25,000 per project, per year. The Gloucester County Times has a list of the projects funded for 2012.

Some towns have multiple projects being funded, including Cherry Hill. There, a $25,000 grant will renovate the interior of the Croft Farm House. Additional funds will help the Cherry Hill American Little League, Cherry Hill Midget Football League and other athletic clubs.
